Hey there is some really big news some might say life changing events taking place but don't worry its for the better i promise. Our old rhythm guitarist Matt after 3 years with prymal rage decide to leave on good terms with the band he is going onto form his own project best of luck Matt! Eric Holmes a gifted guitar player and friend of the band has taken his place. We are proud to introduce a new singer Brandon Brohart into the mix he sounds good, We just finished a new demo with the new line up it sounds better then ever. We have a few new shows coming up check it out.

No we are not dead or broken up despite what you awesome people may have herd. Winter for Prymal Rage is a slow time, a time to reflect and to think about the coming year and to take a break from jamming and give us your heroes some down time cause we all need it. We have a few shows lined up for 09 its hard to think that's its been 4 years of Rage so far!!! who would have thought eh?? Anywho we have some new cool songs that we didn't have when i wrote the last blog on here, they sound heavy i hope you our great radical fist pumping fans will enjoy them and rock out as well etc. The show section will be up-dated check that out much love and Respect yours truly

this is the word you ready??? Alright the band has been going good we jam Every Sunday at 6:30 up in the loft jam space yadda yadda work on songs make new ones you know tha drill. We are getting new merch made up I.e Thongs! Girls and Mens shirts! maybe hoodies and wall clocks? sweet eh, The demos on myspace aint that good but we'll be doing better ones in the near future, but they sound better than the last ones you gotta admit that. we have a show Oct 3'ed i think i already stated that last time i was in this page but check it out none the less and join our Facebook page.

So we have 2 better quility songs on myspaceI hope you dig them. We recorded at Valley Heritage Radio last week it went very good we only got a few takes done because Angus had a Stomach flue but no worrys we will head back in there soon to unleash the full Rage no pun intended. We played Truemanity it went good 36 awsome hiipies a borrowed drum kit and a bunch of lil cool skaters plus some family in the mix pretty sweet, we have videos of the set we'll post them on You Tube then link it to the page for you. Anyways we have 2 more shows coming up and new merch to buy$$$ so get a p.r shirt or for your lady a Thong maybe hot pants?.

Hello there i didn't see you there.. but thanks for coming in. Alright we havn't got the chance to record the proper cd yet but i think we are heading into Daves Studio in early or late July we'll for sure keep you posted on that one. We are rocking the new merch we have slighty better shirts and Fridgemagnets now so if your ever at one of our shows pick both of thoses fine items up! Speaking of shows we have a new one coming up soon check the shows you know the drill by now. So yadda yadda have a fun Canada Day i might see you out and about say hey, theres no live music at Mataway but hey go figure you know but they do have HALFCUT i'm not being sarcastic by any means but have a few local bands jouring the day like us , scarletthunder, plus the always cool pocket full of fireworks. We might rent out the RCAF Wing for a show thats very possible. Hope this tides you news hounds out there.

Hey alright a big thanks for everyone showing up at the battle last night it was a really fun time the other 2 bands were pretty rad. We should have some pics up shortly for you. In other business we placed nothing because we got disqualified because we played Neutron Bomb as an oncore..... you know the lyrics "Neutron Bomb i F..... your Mom" yup that did us in but thanks anyway to the people and parents for digging it, it was all in good fun anyway i myself ain't sorry the fans wanted it who would turn down there fans? not us. anyway have a great weekend

Just some refreshing news on the home front here it is we are going into Valley Heritage Studio to record and cut another demo we should be doing that next month sometime. We made a few new songs up at jam they sound pretty good ect. As far as shows go we are trying to find and book some as we speak. Have i great weekend from all of us to you.

Bad news it turns out we whon't be playing the April 25'th show in Renfrew because Aaron had plans to go with the R.C.I Jazz band to New York City. The rest of Prymal Rage will be in at the show moshing and having a fun time even if we are not playing on stage. Heres some good news that you will really like we got our Songs from recording back they sound very good and powerfull Nick did an awsome job Mixing and shaping them We have 2 of them up on our MYSPACE already go take a look we are still waiting on one more Circle 9 its a really awsome mellow song with a really strong hard chorus look for it on there maybe next week.

Hey to our fans or who ever wanders upon this. I Hope everyone had a good Holiday break. So last Sunday we got around to recording a proper demo cd for all you people that are interested to buy it and take a liston. Its a 5 song demo so it'll be worth it! Hey there how goes it? Us not to bad sorry about the lack of updates our own lives have been pretty full of other things like jobs Aaron now works at Wal-Mart and I Matt at Delauriers we havn't jamed as much as we wanted cause of the jobs but jobs mean money and well money means new band shit and up grades! hey thats kick ass eh? So we'll be going half on a new bigger PA system for the jam space and to host shows with of course. We'll be heading into the MY-FM Studio to recoed some tracks to get a really good demo cd with the help of our really good friend Nick so expect us to sell them at shows and maybe get our stuff played on the MYFM local talent hour of the show. thats all pretty cool don't you think.

We played a really good set at Mavericks last Saturday the crowd really seemed into our stuff we did about 3 songs because the band before us took to long to get there stuff on the stage area. So are in all it was a blast and after the set we get everything out of there and into the prymal rage wagon then went dicking around the mean streets of Ottawa, we also took some really cool pics as well so they'll be up at some point don't worry. As for our rank and standing we don't know but we'll find out next week if we place 1, 2 , 3 we advance onward Sweeet!

Howdy rage fans! alight some news we are playing another battle of the bands Sept 2'ed at MAVERICKS same place as the last battle we played at. As last week we've been jamming making up shit as we go along. Since most of the members of this cool outfit have jobs now we are saving up to buy us some recording time in a real studio and looking forward to unleashing our music to your thirsty ears! plus selling a 3 or 4 song demo ect you know how it goes that is it have a good night sleep tight.

So we had our first jam with Angus back behind his cardboard box drum set and his tong drum sticks. The jam went well we all still knew the songs really well considering we haven't jamed them since our last show at the battle of the bands before Angus left us and took off haha. We'll be planing more shows and we made up a new tune its namelss but the song itself is like fucking wicked its more complex then any of our older songs it has a FortyCentFix vibe about it. Hey it looks like we are not playing the July 28'th 7 band show in Almonte due to the fact that Angus is away at Bible camp... and Aaron doesn't want to train a fill in drummer for whats left of the summer shows. Angus comes back from camp August 2'ed then we will all get back into the swing of things. I'm so sorry to all of you who wanted to see us play or talk to us after a show or buy us a soda pop or our merch then have a photo op with us. Have a good summer play safe have fun.

Alright so the battle of the bands went really well we played with 12 other bands from ottawa! we played a solid 4 song set because the other band before us took to long to set up so they cut us a song short bcause of that. We sold 26 tickets! We can't say our rank in the show because supernova will get mad at us for some reason. We did really really well not first place but really close! As always we love your support and praise keep both of them up we mean it!

Tickets are 10$ in Advance but if you buy a ticket from us we'll give you a radical sweet deal on a shirt or hoodie of your choice! Alight some real good news that all you people really do want to hear! Lets get down to business Aaron got him self a 100-wat Fender twin speaker amp on Saturday. Kilby is still bass amp less, I (Matt) still have my Peavey TKO which does the job for sound, so we will start jamming again real soon we jammed a bit on Sunday that was nice. We might possibly be playing Ottawa sometime so look out for that! As always we fucking love who ever reads this or takes the time to read it.

Still nothing in the wild world of P.R. we haven’t been jamming because Aaron sold his 100 watt bloc to (Roy’s Valley Deals) in Renfrew if you want it by all means go buy it! He sold it to get a really newer stronger 120 half stack. So that’s why we can't jam because he has no amp to jam with, the shipping will take a month cause its from the good old USA but when it get here then we'll all be back on track no worries!

Not to much in the world of Prymal Rage we are all on March Break, we might slink back into the jam loft sometime over the coming week ahead work on stuff ect, The show Friday went very well the sound was pro much better then the Rcaf wing! Caitlin, the promoter kicked ass made sure shit got running smooth and rocking. If you don't see us in shows in March that’s because we are not dead or broken up, we are jamming bettering ourselves and our chops so we can sink our collective teeth into the next gig whenever it is.

The show last night went awesome as it could be! We played a solid 5 song set with mindless banter in between. My famed Matt-a-caster fucked out on me before the show at Angus's! So I used his dad's black Les Paul did the job really well. Everybody really digged our sound we sounded like no one there hence we had a style all our own, people really got into it with the moshing and careless use of there bodies! Plus fist pumping. We played with a lot of good bands nice guys as well we sold 70$ worth of merch which blew all us away! Stick around you'll never know what’s coming up hell I don't know half the time peace!

well today was very much like the last 3 days got up had lucky charms got dressed got pretty. Walked to school it was very cold mornings now are like that Wintrers Coming! It seems my bed is the only warm place i dread getting up as i'm sure many of you. So anyways i got to school i missed home room didn't get a late slip didn't get in trouble for doing so which happens alot unless i do go up to the office whitch i never seem to make it up to 3'rd floor in the mornings. So math went by easy then break talked with aaron then angus after that english class boring as fuck prepys jocks you get the picture not a place for a guy like myself so by passing alL that........Art class was a blast it always is i just completed a huge oil on convas painting , righ on i'm working with clay but i mainly make clay ashtrays on my spare time and give them as Christmas presents pretty sneaky!!! At lunch i eat up at the upper cafe with aaron , angus i bring my guitar and work on riffs ect / eat / crack jokes and thats it so call this boring or call this a peek inside matts day it was fun wasn't it? we had some good times admit it you wanna spend the day with me!

The show went very well last night at the coffee house we sold lots of shirts hehe, met lots of cool new people. We played about 4 songs everyone was digging it the cafe was packed people were moshing and carrying on fun had by all!

Jam went well yesterday. Aaron got his new B.C Rich hes very happy about that.So at jam we inproved one new song Kilby played a sweet bass riff and we went from there. We found out that we have lots of are own songs to do matt and aaron a few songs between them eatch. Just a heads up we might play the R.C.I Coffee House..more info on that when it gets here.

Things are looking brighter then ever Kilby now plays bass and Matt plays Rythem we are now a 4 man band so expect up dates ect we have 2 songs in the process of being covered plus some of our own songs aswell so all and all stuff is going as planed.

Alright, things are still in progress...We got another guitarist, named Kilby. I'm teaching him our stuff, so we will continue practices and gigs soon. All we need now is a bassist.

Well, the band basically broke up. Back to the original memberes, Aaron and Angus. No grudges or anything, but for now we have a lack of...a band. We are looking for a possible rythem guitarist and a bass. Know anyone, sign the thing on the front.

July 2nd
Alright, Canada Day was cool, but not as cool as it could have been. We got the drums there and back, Sammy could play and our drumming wasn't a huge disaster. We played 8 songs, and were supposed to play 11, but it rained before hand, so we were delayed about 10 - 15 minutes. We played well, sang well (or so I was told), so overall it was an alright experience. But of course, Angus is dead to us all now, so if he is reading this, he can throw his own funeral.

Well, Canada day is about 2 days away, so so far there is only 3 problems. 1-Angus is in Newfoundland, 2-Sammy might not be able to make it, but it's not for certain yet, and 3- There might not be drums that we could use anyway. The solution to the no drummer was that Darren and I would split the songs on the drums, and we are ready to do so. Darren has a drum set too, we just don't know if we can get it there or not. But, we will still play, no matter how bad it sounds, but if you are there, remember that we sound a lot better with the full band.

Sorry we haven't been filling you guys in on what's going on. Um, practices are going good, even though we've only had 2 within the past month. But everyone is learning and creating what they need to know! So we'll try and keep you posted. The site is going to have some videos on it soon enough! It's gonna be awesome. Angus is playing drums in one of them. I just have to make some more of the band.

January 17th
We have obtained a female bassist for the band. Her name is Sammy, and she will improve the bands rhythem section. Plus, we now have female vocals for some songs and choruses.

Coffee House and Christmas Concert summarized
Ok, well, the coffee house was cool. There was about 30 people there, and they made a bit of noice. Darren was missing, cuz he's a stink face, and Angus spazzed like always. Aaron just kind of stood there, strumming note after note. He didn't think it appropreate to head bang.
The Christmas concert was better. Even though we had less songs, we had Darren there to solo. A lot more people were there, and a lot more noice was produced. We showed up a band that was right after us, so that was a bonus.

Dec 11th
We decided against the other guitarist, all we really need now is a bassist. We got invited to the rec center, to invite a crowd for a youth dance after we preform. The gig will be Dec 16th 6-7 pm, and it's 4 bucks at the door. We have gotten two gigs lined up this week, so check them at the "Gigs" part of the site. We hope to get more soon.

There is a possible new Prymal Rage guitarist. And no, Darren and I are not going anywhere, there is hopefully going to be a 3rd guitarist. Since either Darren or Aaron don't want to play rythem, Charles might fill that void. So two lead guitarists, and then one rythem guitarist. It shall be fun. The coffee house was cancelled for us, because Angus had to undergo getting his wisdom teeth yanked...so now he's going to be dumb. haha. But yea, again, we have started to play in the music room, so ask us when, to come see us at lunch.

November 6
Ok, nothings really been happening in the past month, other than we have been practicing new material. We are bringing our equiptment to RCI to play at lunchs, and we signed up for a Cafe house thing where we will play infront of a crowd. The Rec Center thing was prosponed, until we get a guestlist worth while. That means until we get 5 bucks from YOU and atleast 30 other people, we will not rent the rec out. There is an artical in the Renfrew Weekender, on the 4th page one of the members wrote about how there is no where to play in renfrew, and how there should be a battle of the bands. So we will see where that goes. We are also in the Toronto star, but only like a sentance of it is about Prymal Rage. But I guess any publicity is good. If you have any questions on how to watch us at the cafe thing or at lunchs, ask any member, perferably Aaron or Angus...Darren has NO clue about this stuff yet.

Ok, just to add a bit, I just found out that we will start practices in the music room starting Winter, almost everyday during the week exept tuesdays. We will play at lunch. That, and we have our band symbol upgraded. Check it out, it's on the home page.

Oct 14
Ok, there are now only 3 official members of Prymal Rage, now that Andrew (vocals) has been fired for good reasons. We have confirmed that we are renting out the Rec Center on November 4th, to put on a show, and are charging 5 bucks, and you need to pay ahead of time so you can get on the guest list. There will be no money at the door, but you will not be allowed in in you did not pay before. We also confirmed that we are playing at Central Public School on Wednesday Oct. 19th. We will be there 2 20 to 3. Be at the rec show, it shall be fun with a good audience.

We have a person who want to be the lead guitarist along with Aaron, if you don't understand that, we are going to have two lead guitarists. So double the solos. We are going to audition him tomorrow night, a whole band practice at the Harbinger's. No one is invited this time, but I'm thinking of having another public practice. At the Harbingers. But if you want to come, you have to get a ride into the country of Renfrew. It's only like 5 minutes out of town, and there will be signs showing you where to go. That is if we have it...I'll let you know after we talk about it.

We have some good news. For us, anyway. In the Winter the lair is off limits because the equiptment will freeze. So since all of the band members go to RCI for school, we will be playing in the music room at lunches during the week. Come check us out if you wish to see us
